Elphinstone's Ken Ross is proud to have been involved with the Lion's Den which was launched in May 2007 with five teams of solicitors from Tods Murray, DLA Piper, Biggart Baillie, McGrigors and HBJ Gateley Wareing accepting the challenge of raising over £20,000 each for the Prince's Trust in a 6 month period.
The Prince's Trust is a UK charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, the charity helps 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.
The total raised by the challenge amounting £313,000, was announced at a Gala Dinner held at Ibrox on 3rd December and the winner of the challenge was the team from Tods Murray who raised £102,000.
Ken Ross mentored HBJ Gateley Wareing who raised £71,093 with their fundraising concept based on selling Carbon Credits to businesses throughout Scotland.
Full details of the event can be found in the Prince's Trust Newsletter.
