Asda for Inverness

At a full council meeting on Tuesday 15 January 2008, Inverness Council granted planning permission to Asda to build their first super market in the Highlands

Elphinstone and ASDA applied for outline consent to construct the 70,000 sqft store in 2006, the 11 acre site upon which the store will be built is part of a wider 25 acre site owned by Slackbuie LLP, a joint venture between Hunter Capital Partners and Elphinstone Holdings.

Elphinstone Chief Executive Ken Ross stated 'I am delighted with the decision. A great day for Inverness and a great way for Elphinstone to start the new year'
