With nearly 25 years experience in the construction industry, Craig has worked for a number of Britain's most recognised names including Alfred McAlpine, Amec and most recently Rok following the acquisition by them of John Dickie Construction. Craig was Business Development Director of John Dickie Construction responsible for all pre-contract activities. Having started life as a site engineer, Craig has had exposure to almost every aspect of the business having also specialised for some time in non traditional forms of procurement.
In his current role as Project Director, Craig is responsible for all on site project delivery for the group including procurement of design teams and contractors.
Craig is currently President of the Scottish Contractors Association representing the interests of the industry on a wider scale. He is also Chairman of Snowsport Scotland the governing body for ski-ing and boarding in Scotland. As a qualified Basi ski instructor, Craig spends a lot of his spare time at Bearsden ski club where he is a committee member and has been president for the last four years. Golf and water ski-ing keep him busy in the summer months.
