Hurlford, Kilmarnock
Planning application submitted in August 2007 to develop 49 houses at Galston Road, Hurlford.  Proposed development of 3 bedroom semi-detached and 4 bedroom detached properties.

9 acres to the north have also been released for housing development in the replacement East Ayrshire Local Plan.

Patterton Steading, Newton Mearns
20 acres between the M77 and Stewarton Road.  Planning permission granted for extension to existing farmhouse, conversion of four outbuildings and two new build properties.

Westermains, Kirkintilloch
Planning permission granted for 27 new homes at Westermains, Kirkintilloch. The 4 acre site, formerly a sand and gravel quarry, will be developed as a mixture of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties for sale and rent.

Elphinstone has also contributed the sum of £9,720 to East Dunbartonshire Council to assist the improvement of greenspace and public recreation in the Kirkintilloch area.
