Stirling Agricultural Centre

Stirling Agricultural Centre is an exciting £15 million development owned and developed by Elphinstone.

The Centre, opened in July 2009 by Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, is the headquarters of UA Group United Auctions, Scotland's leading livestock auctioneers and the Highland Cattle Society Web

Four new service and retail businesses have now been signed up.  New tenants include Sundolitt, Albamec, Stirling Equine and Pet Supplies and Hartsmailing Hams with more announcements expected in the near future.

First Minister Alex Salmond, said: "The Scottish Government is committed to supporting a vibrant, sustainable and prosperous livestock sector and I'm delighted to join United Auctions and Elphinstone to open the Stirling Agricultural Centre.

"It is an impressive modern facility and a testament to the vision which Ken and David have for the future of livestock production and auction marts in Scotland. That is a vision which the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and I wholeheartedly share and we wish all those involved in this enterprise the very best for the future."

Located on a 52-acre site on the outskirts of the City, the Stirling Agricultural Centre supports around 300 on- and off-site jobs and in addition to its offices and shops, comprises 400 pens, three sales rings, 18 paddocks, an exhibition hall, viewing gallery, conference facilities, and a 100-seater restaurant.

The Centre lies to the north of the A84, two miles to the west of Stirling and less than one mile from junction 10 of the M9 motorway leading north to Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen and south to Glasgow.
